Animal-Assisted Activities (AAA) are structured interactions with animals that promote comfort, connection, and overall well-being. Guided by trained handlers, each session ensures safe and meaningful engagement between people and animals.

AAA may take place in hospitals, schools, nursing homes, or rehabilitation centers, and often include visits, guided interactions, or educational demonstrations. These experiences are designed to spark curiosity, support learning, reduce stress, and enrich the lives of people of all ages and abilities through the unique human–animal bond.
