Join us for a cozy, interactive Greyhound Storytime at Beardsley Library in Winsted, CT on July 15th! Children will meet some gentle greyhounds Yayi & Ronya, rescued from the hunting trade in Spain, while enjoying stories, songs, sensory activities, and hands-on time with the dogs. We’ll learn fun facts about dogs and wolves, explore dog’s health, practice gentle animal interactions and dog bite prevention, and discover how animals can help us connect, learn, and grow.

This playful literacy experience is designed to nurture curiosity, empathy, observation skills, and confidence through animal-assisted learning. Perfect for young animal lovers and curious little readers! 📚 Kids with fear of dogs are more than welcome to join.
